Hotel Check-in + Espresso Reset
11:30 - 12:30
Drop bags at the hotel. Grab a quick espresso at a nearby bar to recharge – remember to drink it standing at the counter like a local! Then, head out to start exploring.
Pantheon + Piazza Navona Walk
14:00 - 17:30
This is your classic introduction to Rome. Take it slow, snap plenty of photos, and definitely stop for gelato. Look out for the Fountain of the Four Rivers in Piazza Navona.
Trastevere Dinner + Night Stroll
19:30 - 23:30
Time for Roman classics! Order Cacio e Pepe or Carbonara. Afterwards, take a stroll through the cobblestone streets and enjoy a digestive amaro at a local bar.
Friday, Apr 17(Day 3)
Colosseum + Roman Forum (Timed Entry)
09:00 - 12:30
Arrive at least 30 minutes early. Security lines can be long. Don't forget your ID for ticket checks – they are strict about matching names to tickets.
Capitoline Museums + Views over Forum
14:00 - 16:30
A fantastic mix of ancient art and history. Don't miss the Tabularium for one of the most underrated and spectacular views over the Roman Forum.
Trevi Fountain + Spanish Steps (Golden Hour)
17:30 - 19:30
It will be crowded, so keep your belongings safe. This is a quick stop for that iconic photo. The light is beautiful just before sunset, known as the Golden Hour.
Monti Aperitivo + Late Dinner
20:30 - 00:30
Start with an aperitivo (drink + snacks) before heading to dinner. Monti has a cool, vintage vibe and is perfect for a relaxed evening among locals.
Saturday, Apr 18(Day 4)
Vatican Museums + Sistine Chapel (Early Slot)
08:30 - 11:30
Strict dress code: shoulders and knees must be covered. No photography is allowed inside the Sistine Chapel, so put the phone away and soak it all in.
St. Peter’s Basilica + Dome (Optional)
11:45 - 13:30
Climbing the dome is optional but recommended for the best panorama of Rome. It's a bit of a workout, but the view from the top is absolutely worth it.
Castel Sant’Angelo + Riverside Walk
14:30 - 16:30
A lovely spot for a final stroll along the Tiber river. Capture some last photos of the castle and the bridge with the angels before ending the trip.
Airport Transfer + Departure
16:45 - 19:10
Leave with plenty of buffer time. Rome traffic is unpredictable and can be very chaotic. Better to be early at the airport than stressed in a taxi.
